The Lower class caters for children in Kindergarten to year 3 with a teacher and full time education assistant.
The program provides for intentional learning through play and developmentally appropriate instruction. It operates across a large open spacious well-resourced classroom, teachers provide appropriate teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of the students.
The National Quality Standards (NQS) provides a national benchmark for quality in education and care services and sets standards that all service types are expected to meet. Gascoyne Junction RCS strives to meet these standards in addition to meeting the requirements of the WA Curriculum and Assessment Outline which sets our coreknowledge, understandings and skills important for all WA students.
